JASS: Job Application Support System

1. Who We Are

JASS ("Job Application Support System") and SASS ("Skills Assessment Support System") are products operated by Max Farnon Digital LLC, registered in Florida, United States. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information across all of our products.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use our services:

Account information: name, email address, and password (hashed)
JASS application data: resumes, job descriptions, cover letters, interview prep responses, and LinkedIn profile content you create within JASS
SASS assessment data: career goals, self-assessed skill levels, skills gap analysis results, learning roadmaps, and progress tracking data you create within SASS
Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and timestamps for improving the service

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

Provide AI-powered resume optimization, cover letter generation, interview preparation, and LinkedIn profile building (JASS)
Provide AI-powered skills assessments, gap analysis, and personalized learning roadmaps (SASS)
Process payments and manage your subscriptions and credits
Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, billing receipts)
Improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. AI Processing

When you use JASS, your resume and job description text is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing. When you use SASS, your career goals and self-assessed skills are sent to OpenAI to generate your skills gap analysis and learning roadmap. This data is used solely to generate your requested output and is not used to train AI models. OpenAI's data retention policy applies to API requests.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and all associated data (including JASS application materials and SASS assessments) for as long as your account is active. If you cancel a JASS subscription, your data is preserved so you can pick up where you left off if you resubscribe. SASS roadmaps and assessment data are retained permanently unless you request deletion.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@tryjass.com. Account deletion removes all JASS and SASS data permanently.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data stored across our products
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your account and all associated data
Export your data
Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing

8. Cookies

Our services use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or our cookie consent banner.

9. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase: authentication and database
Stripe: payment processing
OpenAI: AI content generation (JASS and SASS)
Vercel: hosting and deployment

SASS learning roadmaps may reference courses and content on third-party platforms (Coursera, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, Skillshare, YouTube, and others). We are not affiliated with these platforms and are not responsible for their content, pricing, availability, or privacy practices.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
